It’s more important then ever to access the Free vaccine this Flu season
Do I have to pay? No! The NHS offers a free nasal spray flu vaccine to all eligible children in England aged 2 and 3 years old, school children in Reception to Year 7, and those eligible between ages 2-17 years. Why should I vaccinate against flu? Flu can be an unpleasant illness and sometimes causes serious complications. Vaccinating your child will not only protect them but it will also stop the spread among vulnerable friends and family. How do I access the Flu vaccination? Contact your child’s GP if your child was two or three years old on 31 August and if you haven’t heard from them by early November. If your child is at primary school you will need to fill in an electronic consent form. Contact your child’s school for more details. www.nhs.uk/conditions/vaccinations/child-flu-vaccine/
